Still in the Woods...

It is now that time in the rehearsal process when a few actors are still struggling with lines, Ensemble actors have started attending and are being blocked in the show, while directors and production team are scrambling to create and develop details that will help bring the show to life.

These middle process rehearsals are always tedious, but are usually the most important. The actors begin to explore their characters more freely and open themselves up to some of the most emotional and challenging aspects of the show.  Actors have bonded and have become very close.

As this week progresses, we shall see the picture unfold before us, as the set, designed by Geoffrey Moss, goes in, props begin to fall into regular use and costumes find themselves placed on unsuspecting actor's bodies...

By the end of the week, we shall see the skeleton of a complete show.  Honestly, I am too busy directing the show at the moment to keep regular updates coming and my brain is focused on what I see on stage, rather than what I need to write in here, but as more exciting things come to light and more photos are taken, I will post again.  And, thanks to my friend, Geoff, as without him, this post would have not happened in my blog blocked state...
